Year 4 Sacrament of First Reconciliation - Retreat Day
As part of our Religious Education curriculum and to support students preparing for the Corpus Christi First Reconciliation program, all Year 4 students will participate in a special Retreat Day. This day will be led by our Classroom Teachers in collaboration with our Parish Sacramental Coordinator. Permission for this event is required via Compass.
Date: Wednesday, 12 November 2025
Location: Holy Family Church, Budgen Ave, Gowrie
Transport: Students will depart SCA via Bus at 9:15 am and return at 2:50 pm.

A message from the CECG Office
The CECG office is distributing a new survey called the School Engagement Survey to students in year 4-12, parents and guardians, and teachers. The purpose of this survey is to capture satisfaction and engagement within our schools. This information will support in the development of school annual reports, school strategic plans, and initiate important discussions at both the school and the CECG office.
To support in communicating this new and important survey to parents, could you please include the following passage in your school’s newsletter. This will help to ensure that parents are familiar with the new survey and improve the participation rates.
Have your say! The new annual School Engagement Survey is launching mid-November, and you will have the opportunity to reflect on your experiences at the school as a parent or guardian and provide feedback.
Your feedback will be valuable to help us understand how to better support your child and improve our school.
The new survey has been developed with the support of JWS Research. It will take around 10-15 minutes to complete, and your responses will be kept completely confidential and only reported at an aggregate level.
